Altamaha River Run Canoe and Kayak Excursion

Complete with an option for an 8 mile paddle!
An 8 or 16-mile family paddle with experienced guides on pristine section of river. Members of the Wayne County Rescue squad will also accompany the paddlers. The Paddle will begin at Paradise Park in Wayne County. The 8-mile paddle will conclude at Williamsburg Landing. The 16-mile will conclude at Altamaha Regional Park at Everett City in Glynn County. The 16-mile paddle will break for lunch at the midpoint stop at Williamsburg Landing.
Meet at Paradise Park at 6:45 a.m. to drop off canoes/kayaks and then move vehicles to the take out points at Williamsburg Landing or at Altamaha Regional Park. Shuttles will leave to take paddlers back to the put in point at Paradise Park at 7:30 a.m. Individuals renting equipment need to be at Altamaha Regional Park no later than 7:15 a.m. or at Williamsburg Landing no later than 7:30. The excursion will begin at 8:15 a.m. from Paradise Park.
Entry Fee: Advance registration $20.00, Children 10 and under free. Bring your canoes, kayaks, life jackets, sunscreen, and a sack lunch. For canoe or kayak rentals see approved outfitter. Outfitter will be on site to deliver and pick up rental canoes and equipment. Altamaha River Run T-shirts will be available for purchase, $10.

Altamaha River Run Shuttle Information
After registration, vehicles will be moved to the take-out point and shuttles will be available back to the put-in point. The run will start at 8:15 a.m. sharp; come early so you won’t miss the shuttles. Plan to arrive at Paradise Park no later than 6:45 a.m. to drop off canoes/kayaks and then move vehicles to Altamaha Regional Park. Individuals renting equipment can go directly to take out points. The shuttles will be leaving Altamaha Regional Park at 7:15 a.m. and Williamsburg Landing at 7:30. Port-a-potties will be available at the beginning of the paddle and at the lunch stop.
